Dear freinds you know about i pods ?I pods had been since their beginning in 2001, Apple iPods have been the product of choice for individuals who listen to digital music. Recently, Apple has branched out & allowed their iPods to display pics & play videos, but the music aspect of this digital media player is what lures hoards of people in to the Apple stores to buy an iPod.

Its simple design and large memory capacity have been defining features since the first generation. Apple iPods have come a long way since their creation, but despite all of the technological advancement, the basic form and structure has remained very similar. The iPod motif has now been emblazoned on separate pieces of hardware, including the video iPod, the incredibly little iPod Nano and the entry level iPod Shuffle. Each version is a separate entity, but each fills a niche wanted by consumers.

Starting with the iPod Shuffle, you have the lowest priced of all Apple iPods. It lacks an LCD screen and the famous touch wheel that gives you control over all of the other iPod products. In lieu you upload your play lists to the Shuffle and are given the choice to either listen to them in regular play mode or shuffle mode. The iPod Shuffle is available in sizes, gigabyte and half a gigabyte, meaning you can have up to hundred and fifty songs.

The next step up is the iPod Nano. This is the smallest of the actual Apple iPods. It contains a full color LCD screen which can be used to navigate through songs or display photographs. It is available in black or white and comes in a variety of memory sizes all above gigabyte. As an added bonus, it contains the new version of the iPod operating technique, giving you powers historicall the past bestowed only to Mac computers. At around a quarter of an inch thick and an ounce and a half in weight it is ideal for taking to the gym.

Finally, they have the granddaddy of all of the Apple iPods  the fifth generation video iPod. This iPod has a giant full color screen to show songs, pics, tv shows, movies and video podcasts. Clocking in between thirty and sixty gigabytes, you can store songs and videos on this iPod to last you through a flight around the globe.

Next-generation iPad to sport iPad mini-like design and display: Reports

Next-generation iPad to sport iPad mini-like design and display

It's that time of the year again. As we approach fall, we're getting closer to the launch of Apple's new products, as promised by CEO Cook during the company's last earnings call. This also means that we can expect new rumours and leaks to start hitting the Internet.

While a lot is already known about the iPhone 5S (the next-generation iPhone) and the iPhone 5C (the low-cost iPhone), we're also seeing new rumours and leaks related to the next-generation iPad and iPad mini.

A number of rumours have already suggested that Apple is modelling its next-generation iPad on the iPad mini in terms of design and form factor. The speculation has got more credence thanks to a new report by The Wall Street Journal. The report mentions that the new iPad will feature the same touch-panel technology that's seen in the iPad mini, making it thin and light. It cites people with knowledge of the matter as a source, and adds that Apple intends to use the film-based touch panel used in the iPad mini instead of the glass-based one that is sported by the full-sized iPad.

Recently, a video showing the front and back panel of the fifth-generation iPad assembled together, had appeared online showing a design different from the current generation iPad. Prior to that pictures of alleged back panels of the next-generation iPad and iPad mini had also appeared online. The purported iPad rear casing was slightly smaller than the casing of the current generation iPad and the site mentioned that the distance between the border and screen of the iPad 5 was much shorter than the previous iPads, indicating that the new iPad would look similar to the iPad mini with smaller bezels. The casing had the Apple logo carved out and not just printed on it, in the images.

While the exact launch dates of the new iPad and iPad mini are not known, yet, a new report by Bloomberg suggests that Apple will release new iPad models, including an iPad with a thinner body design and an iPad mini with a high-resolution screen, later this year but not at the September 10 iPhone event.

It adds that the "planned new full-size iPad, with a 9.7-inch screen, will have a body that more closely resembles the current iPad mini, with a thinner bezel than the current version. It will be the first redesign since March 2012, when Apple introduced a high-resolution iPad with the current shape."

A number of rumours suggest that Apple could release the next generation iPad mini in the fourth quarter of 2013 but it's not known if it will feature a Retina screen. Just a few days back, a report by Apple-focused website 9to5Mac claimed that Apple was testing a new iPad mini model that would include a faster processor but not a Retina display. However, a few hours later, a new report by The Wall Street Journal appeared suggesting that Apple's suppliers were ramping up production of a new iPad mini device that features a high resolution Retina screen made by Samsung.

Apple Launch of iPad Mini & 13" Macbook Pro - Retina Display

It looks like the iPhone 5 wasn't Apple's last big debut in 2012. Apple just sent out invitations to a special event that it's holding next Tuesday, October 23, starting at 10 a.m. PT, presumably to unveil the much-rumored smaller iPad model and a 13 inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

Apple sets Oct. 23 Event for Expected Launch of iPad Mini & 13" Macbook Pro with Retina Display

The tagline of the invite is "We've got a little more to show you," and the invitation shows the top of Apple's logo. Apple is holding the event at the California Theatre in San Jose, Calif., just a block away from the courtroom where its major trial with Samsung took place. The invitation confirms a report from AllThingsDigital last week, which claimed the event date would be October 23.

Since before its very first model of the iPad came out, Apple has been rumored to be working on a smaller version. But expectations that the company would double down on its iPad line have increased, especially after competitors like Amazon and Google began to put out smaller tablets that were a third of the price and brought in critical acclaim.

iPad Mini release date set for Nov 2?

Apple is allegedly sending out invites to the media for a special launch event next Wednesday, leading to the inevitable conclusion that it will be revealing the awaited iPad Mini.

It has long been rumoured that the consumer electronics giant will be releasing a miniature version of itsnew iPadthis year, in response to a string of new and upcoming launches, including the Barnes and Noble tablet and Amazon Kindle Fire 2, which is expected to come equipped with a 8.9-inch screen, or the paradigm-changing Google / Asus Nexus 7.

It was originally believed that Apple would launch the slate alongside its sixth-generation smartphone last month, but the device failed to make an appearance. Then again, it was also reported that the iPad Mini would launch some weeks after the iPhone 5, hence why the rumours have kicked off again.
Tech site the Register reports a November 2 release date, although some critics remain sceptical as Apples late CEO Steve Jobs once famously dissed smaller tablets, claiming that their small screens make them ill-equipped to host applications.

But then again, that was a while ago, so its possible that the firm could have changed its mind (or conjured up a solution to combat the problem). TheiPad Miniis expected to come equipped with a 7.85-inch screen and there were reports earlier in the year of a stylus, too. We're yet to hear of other possible specifications but will keep you updated as and when we do.

iPod Touch and Nano line-up

Apple has announced brand new versions of its iPod Touch, Nano and Shuffle music players
The fifth-generation iPod Touch has arrived, alongside the iPhone 5, sporting a 4-inch multitouch screen and thinner, lighter body. Measuring 6.1mm thin and weighing 88 grams, expect up to 40 hours of music playback and 8 hours of video. Siri has also made the jump to the new iPod Touch.

On the gaming front, the iPod Touch is 'the world's most popular music player... but a lot of people don't realize that it's also the world's most popular videogame player as well,' according to Greg Joswiak, Vice President for iPod, iPhone and iOS Product Marketing.

175,000 games are available on iOS to date and the new Touch will be taking full advantage of them with its new dual-core Apple A5 processor, offering graphics 7x faster than the previous Touch.
The camera has also been upgraded to a 5-meg iSight rear-facing HD cam including backside illumination, an f/2.4 aperture and an identical sapphire crystal lens cover as the iPhone 5. A 720p front facing camera is also available for HD FaceTime video chatting, and the new Lighting port has made it over from the iPhone 5.

Apple has gotten rid of the chrome back finish on the iPod Touch and gone for aluminum with a brushed metal finish.
Also launched is a new iPod Nano, featuring a 2.5-inch multitouch display, a home button and a thinner body at 5.4mm 38% thinner than the previous model and an FM tuner and pedometer built in.
Both iPods will be available with Apples redesigned EarPod headphones. The iPod Touch (32GB and 64GB models) will be available in stores on September 21st alongside the iPhone 5. Meanwhile, the iPod Nano (16GB model) will be available in October.
